AIMS

THEATRE ALIVE! has the following aims:

• to assist in development of apprenticeship programmes - a professional complement to training in drama and associated theatre arts.
• to offer opportunities for post-training apprenticeships in theatre alongside experienced professionals to broaden professional awareness and acquire new skills.
• to offer opportunities for new projects, progressive individuals and new companies seeking collaboration with an organisation with charitable status.
• to provide graduates with a continuing support mechanism and bridge the gap between vocational training and the profession.

THEATRE ALIVE! is committed to the advance of education by encouragement and promotion of work for young people in all branches of the arts, but theatre in particular.

THEATRE ALIVE! creates a springboard into the profession for young theatre practitioners by promoting, assisting with and collaborating on professional debut projects and particularly those undertaken in association, or collaboration with, experienced theatre professionals to achieve the highest performance and presentation standards from the outset.
